I would not sell Gaaei either ,Tomiayso is not going to be fit before March .

Ajax saves money on his salary for the second half of this year and the remaining years of his contract. I assume he was being paid well over €1M for this season. This was probably as good a deal as Ajax could get.

To address Amol's question, van den Boomen is moving to Angiers on loan for the remainder of this season.

V d Boomen now officially loaned to Angers until June. May have saved a bit of his salary but with a contract to 2027 hopefully he will play in France and attract a summer buyer.

Moro's fee is now 6m plus 2m add ons and a resale ,10 or 20%. So instead of 6m plus 50% of resale we take less. Kroes is a rubbish negotiator. When he signed it was 9.5m up front plus 2.5m add ons which probably have not been reached. Press just say 11m thus a 3 m loss in 6 months.

Just come in and checking Showtime . The current update is wrong and the Osasuna English site shows 5m up front for 50% of him and we retain 50% interest so get 50% of any future transfer. Some one asked do we pay half his salary but I think thats a no .

Not sure of Jordi is involved in this farce. So far Kroes has sold every non youth for a loss except Traore where we made 2m profit

Wolfsburg want Itakura but we have said no but Sutalo can go for the right price. However Itakura was not training this morning so who knows what will happen.Cannot say he is anything special . Sadly apart from our own youth ie Bass,Bouwman,Steur Bounida Mokio and Godts I would sell everyone else as they are not good enough,Dolberg is decent but has hardly scored any goals and gets 3.5m pa !

Wolfsburg have made an offer for Sutalo but its not enough .With a good no 6 in front of him he would still be our best RCD.Bouwman is not ready to be a regular and Itakura isn't very special and looks no better than some of our opponents defenders

Easy for me to say loads of players but who will take on Klaassen,Berghuis Wijndal all with 1 year left. Dolberg a big flop is on 3.5m for 3 more years ,so is Itakura but back in January we turned down money form Germany.

Finally 3 loaned players,V d Boomen playing ok in France but is on 2m for 1 more year . If Ipswich dont get promoted Akpom will be back ,contract to 2028 1.5m pa .He is failing in the Championship so how do we get rid of him .Mannsverk 2 more years wont join Prague ,he is a sub ,at least he is on a smaller salary.

Cannot blame Kroes for the 3 loaned out players or Wijndal but giving Berghuis and Klaassen contracts to 2027 and signing moderate 28 year olds like Dolberg and Itakura on hugh salaries is a financial and sporting disaster.

I would keep Steur.Bounida,Bouwman, Mokio (if he extends). Godts and Baas are good enough but can go for the right price as they will be the only players who could fetch 15m plus. Everyone else could all go as none are good enough . Clearly that is impossible but thats how poor I rate this squad. Worst squad ever ,even worse than 23/24 and this shower will possibly finish 6th. Tomiyasu is quality but never fit and Zinchenko is unfit so I would not take them on and if fit they would not stay.

PS I am angry unhappy but will watch as they are my club and you support or watch through thick and very thin .

Talk from Belgium of Club Brugge buying Janse for 8m. A lot depends on whether Ajax want to keep Baas. Janse has a lot of talent and I can see him developing like Botman.He wont want to return to be backup. Club Brugge are regularly in CL and Brugge is only 90min and 90 k's from Goes in Zeeland where his family farm so a move there would appeal.

Baas is our best defender and he and Rosa as back full back are the only 2 I would keep.Tomiyasu of course is class but has barely played and we cannot afford to give him a big contract considering his injury record. As back ups Bouwman needs to go on loan ,Kaplan has a year left and will be sold. Sutalo, Gaaei and Wijndal are poor and have to go asap.Maybe Itakura should get another season as he has been injured but he does not impress at all.

Talk of Veltman and Blind returning so have to wait and see.

Meanwhile Ajax have fallen so low that last night every fan was following Ipswich so that they can pay us 8m for Akpom. They need to beat QPR at home on Saturday to be promoted but have won only 1 of their last 5. Still dont think they will sign him as he is not going to be good enough for PL ,he has done nothing in Championship. He would still be ok as our sub and back up. Weghorst is a cart horse and Dolberg has scored 3 league goals this season.

What about Mokio? He seems anxious to me and I wonder if he’d benefit from a year on loan to get some playing time and toughen up a bit.

Jong Ajax Belgium defender,Ethan Butera is released on a free .Cost 1.5m but was injured for 18 months.Has played LB and LCD this season but it says he has an option to extend but his contract was very high so Ajax wont extend.

Given he was injured Ajax should not have signed him but then again Tomyiasu was not fit and we signed him and Zinchenko had been injured and we wasted 3m on him .

On the 15 to go many comments this wont happen but we have 25 1st teamers at present(exclude Heerkens and Reverson Jong Ajax 3rd goalies) We have 5 loan players who will return and be 1st teamers ie Mannsverk,Akpom,Kaplan ,V d Boomen Janse thus we have on paper 30 of which 15 to go.

Akpom sold, Jaros, Zinchenko gone Weghorst and Tomyiasu not getting extensions so 5 gone already. Kaplan will raise money, Mannsverk will go for possibly 2m max F-Jim, Edvardsen will go for small amounts .Wijndal and V d Boomen ,contracts up in 2027 will go for free although we may have to pay some of their wages to get rid.

Thus thats 11 who will go without much effort.

We have more than 5 returning from loan. Goojier, Alders, Verschuren, van Axel Dongen (who is never fit), Setford, Faberski and Rijkoff. Of these, Goojier and Verschuren had decent seasons. Hard to judge Rijkoff as he was in the 2nd division though did score goals.

Did not count these 7 in my 15 to go as they all were Jong Ajax last season.Gooijer and Verschuren can return and be back ups for 1st team. Rijkoff has been told he can leave,Setford Alders also will be sold for small amounts.Faberski has a long term injury and V A Dongen will have to be paid off,contract due to end next year.

Lucas Jetten Jong LB is leaving on a free having not agreed a new contract. Good in his youth but promoted to Jong too soon and has not developed enough.
