What a great game to watch . Was thinking in the second half we had 6 players on who had come through the youth and only 1 player was older than 24. All those injuries have cost us this season and we are now looking like a team who will be hard to beat. It does make a difference with a proper striker playing ie Cvitanich with Suarez out wide. At the end of the game Cvitanich looked as though he was limping a bit so hope he will be alright.

the last 4 games will be tough and it is going to go down to the last game. We will need to beat Twente.

What a great performance!

Of course: we have to put it into the right perspective. Willem II were weak and their defence was an absolute joke. But 7-0 is a result that stands, no matter how you look at it. 5-0 at half-time... in many cases the game will then peter out in the second half. This one didn't. Ajax kept going. They kept creating. There were many good attacks. Many nice ideas. Many chances. And two more goals. Could have been more. Willem II had one more or less decent attack. One chance (sort of) and zero shots on goal.

This was good, man. Had a great time.

Unfortunately the match report they flashed on the ESPN feed credited them with one shot on goal. I think it was the wild shot that sailed over in about the 89th minute. Otherwise we would have had a double clean sheet!!! Can't say that I ever remember that happening. Sorry to be picky on an absolutely stunning match.
