He did, but the ref almost gave him a red card...

Well, bad news. The next game will be even tougher, it will be against amateurs! WHC - Ajax.

I think by the sound of this I should be thanking whoever crashed that live stream as I would have had no hair left to tear out by the end of 120 mins.

Glad we won, and that no injuries and especially that the red card is only for the cup. Shame really though as we may need Gabri against WHC on this showing.

Sounds like we got what we wanted, just not how we wanted it.

My biggest concern is what Ko already said, 75 minutes of football for Suarez. I would have liked to see him more rested for the kakkerlakken (but no injuries is good).

Haven't seen the match, but looks like Urby did well, I thought he's looked out of form the last few weeks, so if nothing else, hopefully some confidence for him as well.

More than three pages of replies... I don't think you've ever had that much to say about a not-so-interesting little fixture in the early rounds of the cup. Nice one.



Question of the day: did Urby Emanuelson ever score two goals in one game before...? I don't think so. Both goals were really good, I have to say. Little moments of brilliance in an utterly shit game of football.
