I suppose that El Ghazi being that selfish last week even had a negative result for the team. So we did not play with 10 against 11 but with 9.5 against 11.

It is normal that you kick a guy like him out of the team and with our upcoming backs running forward I expect more crosses to our strikers than when on paper it would be 4-3-3 including El Ghazi.

Yes now we have 17 year old De Ligt on the bench and also some attackers so that with only one substitute you can directly switch back to 4-3-3.

In my opinion it's still having guts putting both Dolberg (18) and Cassierra (19) in the attack.

Looks like we have successfully recreated the defensive circus from the last time we played there. Passing between Cillessen <-> Westerman is so scary right now.

Whoa, this is bad. Hard to tell exactly what's going on with the crappy stream... but it could be 2 or 3 nil to PAOK from what I've seen.

I spent most of the half bouncing around trying to find a stable stream which was very difficult. Peter Bosz must thing he is Antonio Conte by going to a 3-5-3. Unfortunately he doesn't have the Juventus back 3 to make this work. Tete is worthless as a wing back as he doesn't know what to do. Dijks did get a couple of aimless crosses in. the midfield is too slow, just like last year and the two up front had little to do as they never saw the ball. Cillessen came up big twice to keep the score down and then the penalty call just before halftime. Anthony Taylor is a good match official and if he saw a penalty it must have been one. I couldn't tell by the bad feed that I had. Props to Klassen for burying the PK>

Unlike last week there is absolutely no pressure of the ball when PAOK have it. I guess everyone is too concerned about the new formation and afraid of losing their man. Westermann had two really bad plays in the half, one on the goal and the other by letting the striker get in on Cillessen on a counter. I will be surprised if Bosz stays with this formation.

If they don't understand....who does? Fortunately we've got a Ref who knows "history"...but I feel that it was an audition for the Russian ballet school that got us that goal!!! Now, after a few minutes in the dressing room...let's hope that Bosz keeps his mouth shut and let's Klassen tell them what to do.....we're looking at a 3-2...but it'll be an onslaught!!!

Has not so much to do with the system, with formation, tactics or the ambiance in the stadium.

Within 2,5 minutes Viergever and Veltway give possession away three times very easy. Completely unnecessary they give away a corner and then everyone is still asleep.

A bloody shame that when this is your profession you don't have even a little bit of focus.

I'm not blaming the system for the goal which we conceded. Its when we're going forward.

We just look super sloppy. Bad passes, fumbled touches, missed clearances... It looks like a pre season game. Unfortunately you don't get a second chance for the CL.

Westerman is doing his best to make sure that they score. He's reminding me of Wielaert now.

Change to 4-3-3 please. The players are not understanding any of the passing lanes in this system. They don't even know where the passes should go to.
