Moro deal seems to be dragging out. Valladolid is getting new owners, but sounds like Kroes has a deal with the new owners. Ideally low risk, but I'd rather have everything done soon so that he can train with the team.

I read Moro is on holiday as well.He was in the u21 Euros .

Seems like most Ajax fans are unhappy we have only signed a back up goalie so far ,Moro will join soon . At present we have a 1st team squad of 30 and even when we have got rid of the 7 unwanted we will have 25 ie the Dutch u19 goalie will come from Prague.

At that point we will only sign a new player when we sell someone. Kroes is blamed for everything but even the best TD in the world would have a problem with Ajax's position at present.Between them V d Sar and Mislintat bought in a load of players on 5 year deals and now we are in the CL their salaries increase.In order to sell these 7 Kroes has to take lower fees due to their big salaries.

Fans need to be patient but thats not easy.

It’s understandable since we could use some quality in MF and attack.

I’m not expecting any major incoming transfers but I thought they might pick up a player or two from other eredivisie clubs.

I guess they don't fancy Setford or Reverson as potential starters.

Raul Moro finally signs to 2030 for 9.5m plus 2,5m add ons . Will be used as aright winger which we need.

We need to buy some quality in MF. If Taylor goes we need 3 new MF .On Saturday Berghuis Klassen and F-Jim were poor , Mokio ,Steur ansd Bounida far better and should be used as subs . Reeger I dont rate just a back up.

I'm not as close to the youth teams, but I thought both Setford and Reverson were regarded as huge prospects.

Reverson is decent but Charlie Setford is nothing special,his younger brother now at Arsenal was a hugh talent. Ajax clearly rate Heerkens but all is quiet on his signing.

I echo what SPL says. From the Jong Ajax games I watched, Reverson is a better keeper than Setford. There is also a good keeper on the U-16s who had a great performance in the Future Cup last spring. I watched the U-19 tournament games last month and Heerkens looks like a fine keeper. Ajax was the only club he was interested in joining.

We want Salzburg's 21 year Israeli attacking Mf Oscar Gloukh. He seems interested but we only want to pay 15m max they will want 20m. We could have signed him for 7m back in 2022 but decided against him and he went to Austria.

Kroes says a replacement for Henderson is needed and a back up RCD for Sutalo. a short term signing as Bouwman is highly rated but not yet ready to be a backup and can be bought through gradually.

Apart from those 3 positions we will only buy if a regular is sold, ie Brobbey,Hato and assume if Taylor goes .Sutalo will probably stay.

Glockh now agreed 15m plus 3m add ons. Seems like he is a good player and we need an AM . A no 6 is needed but if Taylor goes not sure we will buy a new no 8. Hope he stays as Steur can start playing there as sub.

We still have 7 MF but, apart from Taylor and Mokio and maybe Fitz-Jim as back up ,Klaassen Berghuis ,v d Boomen and Reeger can go .

I have to say I’m surprised. These transfers seem to be at the same level as our past disasters - i.e. expensive for the eredivisie, but cheap for the big leagues. I thought they would stay away from this sort of buying after the last three seasons.

The squad does need some quality and I don’t know anything about these particular players, so maybe they’ll turn out great, but I’m not holding my breath.

Ajax Twitter is super excited about Gloukh. Haven't really seen him play, but I don't want him if he's the same level as some of our kids - Steur & Bounida.

He is now registered and will play tonight .Doesn't sound like he will come. Need to move on. A new no 10 and a no 6 to replace Henderson need to be here before the season starts. We may still lose Brobbey,Hato and Taylor in August and will have to replace them.

Joeri Heerkens has finally signed for 2m plus 1.5m add ons to 2030 .Now officially our no 3 goalie.

Yes, Gorter moved to a Cyprus team. The Setford we have is the lesser of the brothers, the other moved to Arsenal last year. Reverson who split time at Jong Ajax is a better keeper. We also have a very good U-16 keeper who starred in the Futures Cup last spring. I saw all the Dutch U-19 Euro games a month ago and Heerskens is really good.

Oscar Gloukh is officially announced as an Ajax player. He is expected to be our attacking MF.
