Updating my computer so only just caught up with yesterday's news. Gloukh finally signed and Itakura coming. Club wont buy a no 6 or Lb until they sell more players ie Akpom,Mannsverk, Kaplan.

I dont think we will buy a replacement for Taylor as we can probably cover that and Steur is coming through.However an experienced no 6 and hopefully sell Brobbey and get a decent striker who scores goals is all we now need

If we're to believe the rumours, Ko Itakura has agreed to terms and will be in Amsterdam this Wednesday for his medical.

Since both Gloukh and Itakura are non-EU, it's going to take 2+ weeks to get their paperwork sorted.

Frankfurt now bidding for Itakura, think we can forget him.We offered 7m they want 10m ,Kroes should have had this deal sorted last Friday when Hato's transfer was confirmed.

Agree about the defense. I don’t think the attack is good enough either.

I really don’t think buying players from EU clubs in the €10-20M range is the way to go. It’s basically never worked out for us. I’m trying to think of a single exception.

Not worked out with Mislintat rubbish , except Sutalo. Ajax have in the past 3 years forgotten Cruijff's great saying ,you only buy if your youth are not good enough but you only buy if they are better.

We do need another quality Cd as Baas can cover LB. Upfront a striker who can score is needed. MF keep Taylor, Gloukh 10 and a quality 6. Bounida,Steur,F-Jim and Klaassen back ups. Berghuis and Reeger sell .

If Itakura is serious about CL football, it is between Ajax and Eintracht Frankfurt.

Itakura signing confirmed by a few reliable twitter accounts. 10M fee + 2M in potential bonuses. Apparently medical is scheduled for Friday and signing and announcement on Saturday.

Seems confirmed at 10.5m plus 1.5m add ons. Sounds like we have got a good CD.

Maybe Heitiinga knows more about the player than we do as he was an assistant coach at Liverpool last season. It's only for a year, but I don't think a 21 year old will fill Henderson's shoes.

Apparently we’re trying to get Dolberg as a replacement for Brobbey. This may not be the worst possible idea considering circumstances.

Sounds like Dolberg transfer could fail , we dont have 10m to spend but want a loan. Noslin of Lazio on loan suggested ,he is Dutch but scores few goals.

Deadline is midnight so lets wait and see.

Transfer day drama at Ajax is so predictable. Kroes is apparently trying to get Dolberg on a 'loan + option to buy' deal and Anderlecht is looking for a straight sale.

Agreed a10m fee just add ons to be agreed but paper work needs to be in by midnight and I think Ajax will not complete it. If we are left with just Weghorst as striker then all fans need to wave the white hankerchief at the next home and force Kroes out.

We have 2 senior goalies , 1 nearly 42 the other on loan with no option to buy

6 defenders , 3 of whom are fullbacks not good enough ,

4 forwards 3 are left wingers and 1 striker

And 9 Mf most not good enough

And a coach who was not rated at Jong Ajax.

The club is a shambles.

I still think we need to decide about Keizinga really quickly, ideally in the next couple match days.
