Jinaro Johnson MF cum CD extends his contract to 2028 from 2026. Another promising talent

Vitesse 16 year old LCD Aykan Soykan has signed a 3 year contract and will play in our U17.All their contracted players were released .I note this lad is in the Dutch U17 squad.

Emre Unuvar 17 year old Jong striker extends by a year to 2028. Bouwman and Mokio both 2027 need extensions especially as EPL clubs are looking at them . Bouwman was 18 last month and Ajax are talking with him . Mokio is not 18 until March and if he not going to be played much when our whole MF is poor then I see him leaving .

18 year old goalie,Aymean El Hani gets a contract to June 2026 plus a 1 year option. Regular U19 last season and Oranje U19 but this season he is officially in Jong but not even a sub .Played 2 UEFA YL games.

Aaron Bouwman has extended his contract to 2030 which is good news. Steur currently to 2028 and Mokio 2027 are 18 in Jan and Feb and can then sign longer term contracts.
These 2 are vital to be signed up .

16 year old U17 RB Bianief Peters gets his 1st contract to June 2028. Not too many U17's have contracts so expect a few more in the coming months. Simeon UI19 winger ,who is 16 in a couple of weeks is the main youth who must be contracted. Ajax dont like contracting 15 year olds so hope they get him signed up.

Pharrell Nash has agreed a contract to 2030 and will sign next month on his 18th.Meanwhile Ajax want to extend Steur to 2030 and are in talks.They must get him extended as he is top quality.

Jeshurun Simeon 16 year old U19 winger has agreed a contract to June 2029 .He was only 16 last month and there was interest from abroad and Feyenoord. He can only sign for 3 years so it wont start to July . Assume he will be getting some sort of income until then. He is a major talent having played at u19 whilst still only 15

18 year old U19 LW Elias Mechrouh signs his 1st contract to 2029. Been out injured for most of the season so hard to judge .Probably just a filler for Jong in future . Striker Teuwsen who has scored a few goals needs a contract, also some of the defenders also. And Simeon to sign , only agreed at present.

Legia Warsaw want U19 striker Teuwsen ,after his performance against them last month in CL U19 . He turned them down at the time but they intend to return in the summer.This is based on Ajax not yet giving him a contract but it appears he will be offered a contract along with several other talents.

No progress with Mokio but its gone quiet on Steur ,who at end of January was near to agreeing .

PS.Just confirmed U19 MF Thijmen Romers extended his contract from 2027 to 2029. Acheampong and Nash both to 2027 so expect them to be extended soon as they have been promoted to Jong squad.

Lots of youth contracts still to be handed out to U17 and U19 squads but 15 year old U16 goalie Cino Cloos gets a 3 year contract to 2029.He is 16 in July so we are not changing our decision to not contract 15 year olds .

I predict that if Mokio leaves this summer because of a running down contract he will suffer the same fate as Silvano Vos. He should tell his gents to take a hike and stay at Ajax for 2-3 more years.

Agree about Mokio if he leaves .Vos is in Milan 2nd team and Misehouy who also left is on loan with an unknown Greek side. Mokio is promising but nowhere near the finished article .If he leaves he will disappear.

Looking back to January I think contract agreements with youngters are a bit premature.

Steur still to agree to extend to 2030 although he says there should not be a problem.

Simeon agreed a contract to 2029 from July but nothing official , just an initial he is on the verge of agreeing.

Abdalla to extend from 2028 to 2029 but nothing yet. Article today that Ajax need to extend as big clubs are watching.The report should have said he cannot sign longer than 3 years before 18 and that is not until October 2027. EPL clubs cannot sign him until he is 18.All Ajax will do is extend to 2029 and then sit down in summer of 2027 to talk about long term.

Ouazane contract to 2028,is 18 next January .Imagine talks will start in the summer about a contract from his 18th.

16 year old U17 captain Marouane Bentaleb signs a 3 year deal from July to June 2029 .He plays defence and MF. With the U17 Futures Cup this weekend I just read that Owolabi and Darko are the best U17 and of course Simeon , who plays for U19 is 16 and can play but still not signed. Lots of youth contracts to be signed still.

Also 15 year old Ky-an Martis U16 defender signs for 3 years to June 2029.He will be 16 this year. Both he and Bentaleb came from Sparta.

Mokio has extended to 2031 which is great news.Has a lot of potential and with Bounida, Steur,Abdallah and Ouazane coming through we just need an experienced no 6 and our MF is ok.

Meanwhile U19 left sided defender Jahyendrow Amour is given a contract to 2028.He has been out injured a lot this season and is just filling for Jong next season (19 in August)

Jorthy Mokio has fallen out with his family as they wanted him to leave and join a big club and get big money. He decided to stay as he feels his way to the top is continue and develop with Ajax. Jordi took no nonsense and did not talk to the family as it was down to Jorthy and his agent.

Hugh respect for Jorthy. Vos is now in Milan B team in Serie C and Misehouy on loan with some unknown Greek side.

16 year old U17 left winger cum no10 Denzel Darko signs to 2029. Simeon also 16 is also about to sign up. Both had offers from abroad. No names but only German sides usually take on Dutch kids although one or 2 have gone to Italy .Deniz ,a16 year old left us for Juventus in January.

Jeshurun Simeon , u19 winger aged 16 signs to June 2028. No idea why not a 3 year deal but he turned down foreign interest so next summer we need to extend although he will then be coming up 18 and EPL clubs can come in.

At the Futures cup I was more impressed with the other winger De Baat ,who scored a few goals.
