ado away is a tricky fixture, if we can win this, I can really say we have the guts and attitude to be champions again.

Yeah, I'd forgotten about that one, but you're right.

PSV, AZ and Twente play in in the Europa League this week (and they all have something to battle for). Then they have rough Eredivisie fixtures this upcoming weekend (except for AZ, who play NAC at home; NAC are only dangerous at home) - and then they all have midweek fixtures again. Cup final at stake (for PSV, Heerenveen and AZ) or a must-win league game (Twente).

Meanwhile, the Ajax players can order Chinese food and watch it all on TV, in a horizontal position on the couch. Luxury, man.

It really starts to look promising for Ajax. It really does. But it's gonna be a bumpy ride: PSV at home, Heerenveen away, Twente away... No mistakes in this phase, no mistakes at ADO; that's absolutely crucial.

in the next 2or 3weeks Siggy, Boerrigter and V d Wiel will likely be fit which can only be positive

I'd rather have van rhijn stay in at right back than having van der wiel back, and if he is back it is obvious de boer will pick him

Team desperately needs a new physical training staff! Ebecilio out of tomorrow's match with a groin strain. Lukoki may be in as a starter on the wing.

I too would rather have V Rhijn than V d Wiel . I see Valencia wont pay more than 6m for him . Still think if he is the best right back in Holland does not say much for the rest !!

I read that AZ and Fword are the main 2 teams waiting to take V Rhijn if Ajax are not going to have faith in him by playing him next season.

We may well see Lukoki in action as de Sa did not play for the A1 today as he is playing for Jong Ajax on Monday.

I agree and think that right now Van Rhijn is a better all around player. I hope FdB realizes this and keeps him on the pitch.

Card could have been yellow but I guess the studs were showing on the replay. a bit of good fortune for Ajax.

Boussaboun off for a studs-up challenge on Anita. We haven't been looking too bad, but I guess they're really going to park the bus now...

They have to stop pitty patting the ball and put in some meaningful crosses.

Yeah, I've seen worse get yellow, but I can see the argument for red as well.

We actually played better before that red card.

Well it wasn't easy, but we managed to kill off the first 45 minutes -- if we can keep it up we can get away with a 0-0 tie and a point.

I saw better play from the NexGen Ajax junior team than I'm seeing today. We maybe had 10 minutes of decent play and then just started making aimless passes and defending poorly. Vermeer is the only decent player on the pitch at this point in time. Ozbiliz needs to remember that he is NOT Messi and has trouble beating one many much less two. I still don't pretend to understand FdB's infatuation with Janssen; he just stands around doing very little. Fortunately we are a bit lucking on the sending off as in the English league that would have only been a yellow, so now we are even at 10 against 10 unless de Boer puts somebody out there instead of Janssen. Aisatti should have put the ball in the net on the chance he had. Koppers was lucky that Ado didn't score when he got beaten on a school yard play.

Chances are another Ado player will be sent off and we might even get a goal in the second half. With this quality of play we're not going to win this match.
