On the road to ADO this Sunday and a cup match coming up mid-week against SVV Scheveningen (never heard of this club). Will Keizer continue with the dual striker formation or revert back to a more traditional 4-3-3. Feyenoord were poor in their CL game this week and have a tough match away to PSV (who are without their two top forwards). Maybe a chance to pick up some ground.

Same 19 as last week.Sinkgraven still injured, Eiting and Cassierra with Jong Ajax

sounds like back to 4-3-3 with KJH striker and Younes and Kluivert wingers.Frenkie midfield with Donny and Ziyech (still keep thinking Frenkie Donny but one is missing)

Again why has Siem been signed.Schone is not getting a starting spot and Eiting should be on the bench as spare with Schone,

I saw a post on Ajax showtime saying "de Jong in the starting 11", and I thought WHAT? Then I realised it was referring to Frenkie

Personally I don't mind having Siem around, provided he's not taking a starting spot off Donny or Frenkie. And since Ajax doesn't really spend in the transfer market, we can afford to pay him until he's 50 and still buy the ArenA!

I see our "old" friend Lex Immers is playing for ADO!!!

Immers's adventure in the ArenA in a Feyenoord shirt is still one of the most amusing things I've seen on a football pitch. The good old days!

Strong half against fairly poor opponents. FdJ having a good game at #8. Ajax had three big chances before opening the score and one or two lesser chances to make it 2–0. ADO are trying to counter exclusively down the wings but haven't got anywhere so far. Think there are a couple more goals in this for us.

Team has gone completely off the boil. Unless there is something to recreate a spark, this game could slip away.

This is where we need a defensive midfielder to take control of the game! Maybe Schöne for vd Beek soon.

We are dreadful and that goal was coming, how does Dijks get a game ,utterly woeful left back

What a bummer. So many missed chances! The ADO keeper gets man of the match...

Well we threw everything at them in those last 5 mins but until then we played poorly for long periods of the 2nd half and cannot complain about a draw as we could have thrown it away.Lots of attempts but couldn't put that winner in.

Looking at their goal poor defending by Viergever and we need to replace Dijks,but who with!!We are running 2 pro teams and thats nearly 50 players but only 1 real LB and thats Dijks!

How did the ball not go into the net in the first minute of extra time? Ajax created chances galore but could not find the finishing touch. Before going any further, let's hope that Ricardo Kishna is OK. It would be a shame if he has yet another knee injury.

What was Dijks doing on the long cross that ended up with an ADO goal. It looked to me that he thought it was going out into touch and just stood there ball watching, letting the ADO player get the ball (I think it was our former youth player Sheraldo Beker who saved it). Just awful!!!

Cannot complain about the number of chances that were created; Ajax should have had at least four goals given the openings that they had.

Player Ratings:

Onana (6) - some very erratic decision making today and almost got caught out twice
Dijks (4) - very poor performance
Viergever (7) - solid match both defensively and bringing the ball forward
de Ligt (6.5) - really bad error early on getting turned too far up the pitch but solid after that
Veltman (7) - fine match for a change
de Jong (7) - good enough to start the next match
van de Beek (6) - just a bit above average
Ziyech (6.5) - equally outstanding and disappointing; some great passing and some awful passing
Younes (6.5) - played decently not trying to force the ball when he didn't have an opening
Huntelaar (6) - looked tired after the 60th minute and perhaps Dolberg should have come on
Kluivert (6) - deserved Yellow card for diving but otherwise OK
Neres (6) - flip a coin about whether he or Kluivert should start; I see little difference between the two
Schöne (5.5) - didn't create much coming on for the final 10 minutes
Dolberg (NR) - not on long enough though he did have a half try on goal.

Cup match mid-week against SVV Shevenigen and then home to Vitesse in the league. Club needs to score goals plain and simple.

Viergever had a very good last ditch intervention when Onana was going on a walk about. I think our Austrian LB Wöber will be starting within the next several matches.

Regards their goal,when Dijks had not defended ,he was the real problem,the ball fell to ADO guy and Viergever just seemed to stand there ,perhaps I was being a bit harsh on him. Dijks should not even be playing at Jong Ajax level imo.We really need to replace him Viergever at LB and Wober in .

If you get a chance to look at the replay again, you'll see Dijks doing his job....it was our esteemed no11 who was not doing his task an tracking back!!!

A very disappointing second half...too much "pretty pretty" in midfield...too much "here, you do it"....in short, no reponsibility!!
