The next round of the Beker finds Ajax away against ASV De Dijk, an amateur team based in Amsterdam. I'm not sure where the match will be played. ASV De Dijk have a very small arena and there was talk about playing this one at the Olympic Stadium. I assume we will see a number of new players in the starting lineup on Wednesday.

Being played at Volendam ground.De Dijk is a north Amsterdam club and Volendam is just up the road from them.

Veltman and Younes rested ,V Leer and Dijks injured. 21 in the squad ,Zeefuik,Eiting,Cassierra and Johnsen added.

It would be nice to see a MF of Frenkie de Jong, Eiting, and van de Beek (or maybe Siem de Jong as the #10)

Our former keeper, Jereon Verhoeven will be in goal for ASV De Dijk tonight!

I would say Verhoeven has been eating pizza lately.

Three goals and I just hope we don't get anyone hurt with all the chopping and holding going on. No shots on goal for De Dijk until late in the half and our back line hasn't had to do much defending at all.

For the first time this season, I'm watching Ajax on an official channel which I've paid for

Lots of chopping down of our players since their players are generally slower and are resorting to pushing and slide tackles.

I am spoilt as our league games are live on sky.Hope the deal is renewed next season.I am sure there are lots more streams for our league games and a cup game v amateurs is not going to see many streams.

3-0 up and I note Adnam El Idrissi is playing for them. Left Jong Ajax back in January had trials with about 4 teams but now playing in our 3rd league.Think he is good enough for Jupiler league.

Ugh. Cerny just appears to have twisted his knee really badly while turning.

Following Ajaxshowtime tweets ,sounds like a bad injury.

Straight forward victory and really wasteful in front of goal. Club should have had 4-5 more goals. It took a while for Ajax to figure out the pressure early on and once they did that there was some decent passing to open things up. Some good passing from F. de Jong and the assist by Eiting on S. de Jong's goal was very pretty. Too bad Dolberg couldn't get his shots on frame. The conceded goal was simply someone falling asleep and not marking the De Dijk player. Other than that play Lamprou wasn't troubled at all and defense had very little to do.

I'm not offering any player ratings on this one. You honestly cannot give someone any higher than a 7 given the quality of the opponent. Away to Willem II on Saturday.

Cheers at least we won with ease but this sort of game should have been about 7 or 8 goals .

Thanks. I enjoy doing them but honestly against this kind of competition, it is difficult to give anyone a rating much above average. Probably Frenkie de Jong followed by his older name sake were the two best players on the pitch.

Yes I enjoy your ratings.Agree very hard against a team like De Dijk. Looking at Ajaxshowtime today clearly Frenkie was our best player.
