Another congested fixture lineup is on the horizon with Eredivisie, Champions League, and Beker matches coming up in rapid succession. Ajax travel to Heerenveen this Saturday for a league match, host Benfica on Tuesday, face Feyenoord at home, and then a Beker match with Go Ahead Eagles.

I haven't seen any update on the fitness of Ziyech. Mazraoui returned home early with a groin issue.

'Unfortunately' two days of drinking beer in Duesseldorf and then Amsterdam Marathon disturb my weekend plans.

Tagliafico came back from international duty with an injury and will not be in the lineup today. Ziyech appears to have recovered. Projected lineup is: Onana, Blind, Wöber, de Ligt, Mazaroui, Schöne, de Jong, Tadic, Neres, Dolberg, Ziyech

Kristensen for Mazraoui who is not 100% fit .Blind for Tagliafico. Neres sub so Ziyech and Tadic wingers.

cricfree has streams so hopefully one will be good.

nice early goal by Schöne and then Ziyech near the end of the half. Lots of possession but precious few chances otherwise though van de Beek had a shot go just wide. Onana had one good save to make but otherwise wasn't bothered much.

Not much more to add ,2 lovely goals and hopefully a game we should now comfortably win.

Played in 3rd gear all game - 4-0 away win and no injuries. Can't ask for more after a 2 week international break, can we?

Easy win at Heerenveen 0-4. Ajax had huge possession and passing advantage over the hosts. Defense was solid and Onana only had a couple of tough shots to deal with. Blind did well at LB as did Kristensen over on the right side. MF was very strong and it was good to see Dolberg with a solid match.

Player Ratings:

Onana (7) - two very weak kicks that led to dangerous turnovers but otherwise good
Blind (7) - very good on the ball and didn't have a lot of defending to do
Wöber (7.5) - solid defending all match long and it will be interesting to see if he is first choice now
de Ligt (7.5) - excellent on the evening
Kristensen (7) - very good going forward, a little too dicey on defense
Schöne (7.5) - rocket shot for the match winner in the 2nd minute
de Jong (7) - good match and let's see him grow into this position
van de Beek (6.5) - dropped back when de Jong was subbed off and a little unlucky to have shot wide early in the match
Ziyech (7) - no lingering effects from the leg injury and subbed off as a precaution
Dolberg (7.5) - active all match long though the penalty could have gone either way
Tadic (7.5) - strong match
Huntelaar (6.5) - hit the underside of the bar late in the match
Neres (6.5) - dangerous in the 25 minutes he played
Labyad (5.5) - on late for some mop up duty
