22 in the squad, Dolberg ,Weghorst and Mc Connell injured. Berghuis is not 100% but included and Baas is in the squad. 4 Jong are in Reverson no 3 goalie, Konadu ,Bounida and Alders. Steur,Unuvar and Bouwman play for the U19's but will join the squad

Berghuis,Reeger Klaassen all starting with Gloukh striker. Baas is fit which is good as he has played very well so far.

Klaassen is such a joke. What a bonehead pass!

Please.. stop the game at half time. This can be a punishment like against Napoli.

The fact that we concede so easily is all down to the players that want to get rid of the coach. It’s just sabotaging at the moment.

This team is so bad. No plan on what to do and the ball goes back to the keeper who has no long kick outlet with a Smurf team out there. I don't know how much more of this I can take. On to a business call in five minutes so maybe it runs long and I don't get to watch the 2nd half.

Yes, that could be the reason, though Klaassen is not good enough to sabotage things.

Dreadful ,only positive Reeger went off and Mokio came on.just think this kid should start.Reeger too slow to stop the 1st, Klaassen gave away the 2nd and Berghuis and Wijndal the 3rd.These 4 players should not be at the club not good enough.

5 or 6-0 my final prediction.lose to Sparta on saturday and Heitinga will be out. The players dont look fit enough either.

Agree I have never seen Ajax so bad,OM took their foot off the gas at 4-0 . Heitinga must be sacked asap.He is clueless . Why does he put on Edvardsen before Moro who has a lot more to offer.

Heitinga stated in the post match interview that he doesn’t regret making any tactical decisions and that he can turn the ship around. If he’s not fired by tomorrow morning, I’m going to skip watching a few games.

Trying to look on the bright side, we were never going to win this and the score could have been a lot worse.

Heitinga will be fired, it’s just a question of when. My guess is still winter break.

Correct, and the right approach to this match would have been to take a much different tactical approach. You cannot play a Smurf lineup against this type of opponent and Oscar is not Tadic and cannot be a false 9 since there are not the kind of players who can utilize that approach. If you do not have the first two choice #9s, start Konadu up front to at least have a more phusical presence. Bench Berghuis and Klaassen who offer nothing in support and get Mokio in at #6. It's the future of Ajax and not the past that should be played. This team is not going to challenge top teams such as Inter and Marseilles and as we have seen are huge underdogs in these matches. If Ajax are famed for the development of youth, put these players in!!!! From the manager up through the senior technical staff they need to realize that they are never going to have the type of transfer budget to bring in established players and the focus will always need to be on youth development.

It's too bad that Klopp is working with the Red Bull Group, he would be an ideal person to come in and right this ship.

Good points Orange. Ajax should promote their youth ,Mokio played better than any other MF when he came on although Taylor did ok. The only player we have who will be worth more than 20m is Mokio .He has real talent and if he plays regularly for the next 2 years we will get 40 m for him but he is being underused by a clueless clown of a coach. He wont renew his contract and will leave next summer for less than 10m . Rather than play Berghuis ,who is a waste of space ,Bounida should get playing time especially against the smaller clubs.

Heitinga needs to avoid defeat v Sparta and will then last until Nov Int break . Fans on here and Showtime all saying they wont watch and I am sure many want Sparta to beat us but no way would I stop watching. A defeat on Saturday would hopefully cost him his job but I would never want Ajax to lose any game.
