What will be the state of the team when this match rolls around?

Gaaei and Sutalo back and in MF Mokio for Taylor. Klaassen plays for Moro so Gloukh possibly on the wing. I would be happy with a draw.

Reeger seems to be a hanging right winger , what can one say about this clueless coach .

2 great saves by Pasveer and we are playing defensively but have started to break out attacking more in the last 10 mins. Not really sure what Reeger is doing but then again I dont rate the guy.

Why is anyone complaining about the handball by Baas. Clear as day penalty call!!

We were not doing too bad in the 2nd half until we let in a goal then 2 pens and that was it. Still believe a decent coach would organise and get these players playing better.

Sadly now half hope Utrecht win and we get rid of Heitinga and Kroes with him.

I had to drive Mrs O-14 home from her afternoon coffee with friends (she is rehabbing to broken ankles and while she is finally able to walk, she can't drive yet) so I only saw the first five minutes of the game and the whole second half. When I saw Klaassen penciled in the starting lineup, I realized for the 100th time that Heitinga has no clue. He is just so awful that I want to throw something at my computer screen. Osmihem is one of the best strikers in the world right now and he showed it on the first goal. He would have beaten any defender in the world on that particular play so I don't blame Sutalo all that much. You cannot lose the ball that close to your own goal and leave him in a scoring position. It was also a great cross from Sane. Until FIFA change the handball rules, both Baas and Alders have nothing to complain about. Those were clear penalty calls and would be given in the Eredivisie every Sunday. Ajax have been the beneficiary of such calls in the past.

I can't give player ratings having missed the first half. From what I saw, Ajax had some weird set up with no real right wing. Regeer drifted out there to defend. I thought Mokio was much better from what I saw. I know Ajax has financial problems right now but the two players they brought in Oscar and Itakura are not as good as advertised. IMHO, Bounida is better than Oscar and should be seeing more playing time than he has. I hope they don't spend any money in January as I don't see any player(s) that can come in and help this team. They need to bite the bullet and give the youth players a chance now. It's likely that Ajax won't get a single point from this CL campaign.

It gets worse every game ,another poor performance and a clueless coach.The fans in the stadium clearly dont have a problem because we should be seeing white handkerchiefs.

Pasveer made 2 really great saves ,I did not think Baas and Sutalo were too bad. Mokio had a decent game and Bounida showed signs of his quality.He needs to get playing time ie at least 20 mins or so like this game so why did he not come on v Heerenveen.Would he be so much worse than Gloukh who does lose the ball a lot like Godts.

Seeing Mc Connell come on is the worse thing about being an Ajax fan, why on earth am I seeing an average Liverpool reserve who should not be at the club .

We are going to struggle for 3rd place and that is only CL qualifying round 3 .This team is Conference level and unless they get points v Benfica they could end up with no points.

The people running the club clearly dont care about it and only their own positions.
