I personally think you're hitting the nail right on the head, Philippe... I'm just guessing, of course, but that's what I think is going on.

El Hamdaoui is known to be very... 'proud' (you could also say: he's a bit of a twat, who's too full of himself). He wasn't pleased when Frank de Boer put him on the bench and played Siem de Jong at 'number 9'.

tuned in on the 70+ minute and we are playing impressive!! maybe its the red as you say, that might be unfair, nut we got our share of shit from the refs. so....

One or two dicey moments in the last five minutes but a comfortable win in the end. This team is really playing, great movement, good passing. Goals will come. On to the final 8 in the cup.

enjoyed the game , great movement and passing. Should have won by more than 1 goal . The only time I paniced was in the 90th min when Steks saved and for a spilt second I thought Urby had given away another penalty .They all played well Eriksen and Sulejmani especially but I was impressed with Ebecilio . 2 weeks out of Jong Ajax and he does look good.

Couldn't agree more. It's like night and day compared to Jol. Have you noticed how few long balls we play? Good spacing is the key.

Great news . Its been a joy to watch these last 3 games being played the Ajax way .

My MOM last night was Ebecilio and I noted Goal.com on their match summary gave him MOM .
Under Jol this kid would have been stuck in Jong team but he did look good last night . I think more youngsters are going to get their chances. Last night we finished with 9 who came through our youth team on the park .Only 2 players were over 25 ie de Zeeuw and Steks.

Frank de Boer said when he became interim manager: "I want to be longer in charge than only 4 games".
Van den Boog said that Ajax always had Frank de Boer in mind as the coach for Ajax 1. Ajax do not have some kind of shortlist with 10 potential managers. Nope.. they want Frank to do the job.

So I think it will be a matter of days/weeks that they will sign the contract.
