from a Willie Nelson song!!! Ajax journey to Excelsior for yet another must win match before the home tie against league leader Excelsior (big ooooops; should be Feyenoord obviously). As SPL already noted on the Europa League thread, Ajax face a busy April and have had a number of players on the preliminary Oranje roster for WC qualifiers. Schöne is out for the next Europa tie so will Bosz start someone else at the holding position? I don't think he will deviate at all from the starting lineup he has been using though it remains to be seen whether Veltman is healthy.

Good morning all ,well first news is bad Dolberg has a groin injury and wont play. Neres and Cassierra both played 90 mins on Friday so I guess that leaves Kluivert to start.

It may seem hard to tell, but Ajax have strength in depth. With the exception of maybe the left wing, although Cerny is making a steady come back.

Feyenoord scored a 2nd now 2-1.Vilhena scored ,he had been banned for 3 games but appealed and thus plays this game and scoring winner!

I just started watching a rojadirecta stream and immediately saw De Ligt with a spectacular tackle to win the ball. Reminded me of De Boer v Ronaldo from 1998 WC (?)

Does Ziyech have vision problems? Does he not see where the goal is? 4 times out of 5 he misses by 20-30 feet.

De Ligt tries to pass with his weaker leg to either Sanchez or Onana, misses both and gives the ball away to the Excelsior forward who scores. Ball was actually going to miss the goal but hit Tete's knee and went in while he was sliding to block the shot.

Ziyech puts in a low cross across the face of the goal -- Kluivert moves in and puts it away -- 1-1. There is still hope.

I can't remember the last time Ziyech made any keeper make a save. Don't get me wrong, he does a lot of other things better than others, but his shooting is horrible.

Why they keep letting Ziyech take free kicks is beyond me. Does he ever put them on goal?
