Big opportunity to close the margin if PSV suffer at the hands of Feyenoord in Rotterdam this weekend. Ajax are in the first match of the day against ADO at home quickly followed by the PSV-Feyenoord tie. I haven't seen any injury updates so assume the same starting 11 will be on the pitch against ADO

We have dominated but frustrated as ADO have defended well.Eiting looks good but is Siem de Jong on the field.We miss our big strong strikers,KJH would have been in that ADO defence putting himself around.Cassierra should be given a go.

Every week I keep asking myself the same question, "why do I watch the first half of Ajax matches?" another awful performance. Yes, ADO are parking everyone behind the ball but Ajax are just too slow and not using any of the space that is available. Passes are weighted too heavily. At least the defense is holding up OK. this match might very well end up 0-0 which is just disgusting. Neres had the only real chance but scuffed his shot. The match officiating has been quite poor. Several phantom fouls were called and Tagliafico suffered from two of them.

A good first half. Now Ajax needs a goal or two in the second.

Frustrating half -- we had some good setup play, but seemed to blunt our own attacks by not following through with a good finishing sequence. That, and the fact that we are playing 11 against 12. I hope both change in the 2nd half.

Still not over, PSV got some tough fixtures, if they lose 2 games in the remainder of the season, and Ajax win theirs, but draw PSV. Then Ajax can still win the Eredivisie
