triller Tv have not yet listed any details of this game. They are listed as official streamer for Uk and I am paying my 7.99 USA dollars a month so hope I get a stream.( Its only about £6 per month ie about 7 euros so very good value)

For those in the US, it looks like ESPN+ will be carrying Dutch matches again this season. If you only look at the main ESPN Soccer schedule it does not show the games as being televised. You need to log in to ESPN+ and pick soccer and go to Sunday. You will see both the Ajax and the AZ matches as being on this streaming service.

Still waiting for Triller to list Dutch games. They only listed Portugal games on Tuesday starting tomorrow night , Dutch 1st game will be Saturday .

Triller finally lists the game . I see Premier Sports in Uk are showing the game on live Tv. Imagine they will charge a bit more than 7.99 dollars ie about £6 per month with Triller.

Line up as expected although Reeger is RB , Gaaei and Rosa on the bench. Alders is no worse what a shambles.

An anxious first 5mins and what a tackle by Baas.We have played decent and at least 1 of those 3 breakaways should have been our 2nd.

I would call that acceptable but no better. Not very inspiring in attack for the first 60 minutes and we could have conceded a goal or two.

That only two goals were scored in this game is a testament to both GKs who made some nice saves. A number os shots were also blocked by both defenses. Ajax demonstrated some attacking ability in terms of getting shots off but look frail on defense. Farioli had players staying back and seldom suffered break aways. Against a better club, Ajax might have conceded a fair number of goals. Heitinga will do well to watch some film of last year to see how the team were better on defense. Of course when you have Klaassen rather than Henderson, this will cause issues. Jaros is MOTM followed closely by Baas who had a great recovery after the dumb play by Bouwmann early in the first half. Oscar looks to be super quick and good on the ball and will likely slot in as a starter next week. Sutalo is back in training, but his return is still uncertain. As they say three points in August are critical if you want to content for the title.

Player Ratings:

Jaros (8) - some great saves and decent kicking
Regeer (5.5) - just ordinary and I was surprised that he started over Gaaei
Bouwman (5) - very talented, very young, and occasionally very poor footwork, the early mistake of the miskick that led to a breakaway was foolish, will be very good with time
Baas (7.5) - solid game with some blocks and take aways
Wijndal (6.5) - not a bad performance and he overlapped very good with Moro
Klaassen (5.5) - no solution to the problem at #6
Taylor (6) - had a great shot late in the 2nd half that was saved by Koeman's face
Berghuis (7) - good assist on the first goal and solid game both in the MF and on the wing
Traore (5.5) - some poor choices
Weghorst (7) - put the ball in the back of the net which is what a striker should do
Moro (7) - speeds and brings the ball down well, delivered balls into the box which the other wingers don't always do
Gaaei (6) - on for Regeer and showed pace down the right
Oscar (6) - really quick with the ball at his feet and looks to be difficult dispossess
Godts (6) - another who was unfortunate not to score

My 4 players I did not rate all scored the least with Oranje ie Reeger, not a full back and an ordinary Mf. Bouwman promising but not ready. Traore does nothing and we need a proper right winger even Gaaei would be better as a RW. Klaassen is not a no 6 should never start and should be a sub where he can come on late.

Jaros was very good ,Baas superb and the only defender worth the name. Berghuis played well.Enjoyed Weghorst a striker who puts the ball into the net unlike Brobbey

Press very anti Heitinga but this man should not be coach but at least the game was enjoyable to watch and not boring like alot of last season.

I'm still wondering if Ajax had not collapsed at the end of last season whether Farioli would still be manager. His defense first strategy, while not pleasant to watch, got results and Ajax were seldom exposed as they were yesterday. It is a bit harsh to judge Heitinga after one match and it will be interesting (for sure) to see how this team evolves. Jordan Henderson's absence is clearly evident. I honestly do not understand why there is support for Klaassen. He is at best a substitute. It was also weird reading some of the press comments about Moro and how he is going to hinder the development of Godts. He showed yesterday all the things Godts does wrong, and I have no complaints about this player.

Saw the 1st half and part of the 2nd half. No matter who the Manager is, but a midfield of Klaassen, Berghuis and Taylor doesn't work. The majority of our defensive issues started with Telstar running right through the middle of the field. Wonder how the DM puzzle is resolved. Apparently Itakura has played there before.

Jaros and Baas saved our butt quite a few times yesterday. Baas had a quite an amazing pass from the corner right into Traore's path to release him at the halfline. Traore should've laid the ball off for an onrushing Moro or taken a shot earlier.

Wijndal did alright and I feel we need Gaaei instead of Regeer starting at RB.

Moro was really good and Traore on the other hand wasn't good at all. Weghorst put 2 in the net, which is likely more than what Brobbey could've done.

Didn't see Gloukh or Godts, but have read that Gloukh did pretty well.

Totally agree on the MF. We’ll get ripped to shreds if we press like that against teams that can move the ball quickly.

Moro looks ok, hard to judge against Telstar. He does look to play the ball quickly which I like to see in a winger (opposite of Godts). But I thought he was bought for RW? We’re not looking at another season of Traoré and/or Berghuis there are we? I don’t think I can take it!!!

Yeah I'd rather have Godts/Edvardsen at LW paired with Moro/Traore at RW. I too can't take another full season of Traore bumbling around all game at RW.
