Well this was weird. I started typing in the Beker match in the subject line and autofill completed it with the year 2025. The match against AZ is exactly one year from last year's when Ajax were knocked out. AZ is proving to be our biggest challenge these days and let's hope for a turn around!

Wijndal for Gaaei.Rosa at RB and Baas is unfit so Sutalo starts . No streams in Uk so I cannot watch it and not prepared to find an illegal stream .

All our league games are on Triller which costs me £6 per month ie 8 US Dollars per month and I get our CL games on TNT TV and have a cheap package and get TNT for next to nothing so cannot complain about missing cup games.

We always seem to lose against AZ so maybe tonight we can win .

Keeping my eye on the game but 3 -0 down is a disgrace as we have put out a strong team ,only Baas is missing but he is our best CD.

Hopeless. AZ set up quite defensively and we don’t have the quality to create chances. Not impressed with Jaros or Sutalo. This game is over so I will skip the second half.

Ajax are just really bad. Down 3-0 at the half and only managed two shots on goal that were easily saved. first goal came off a turn over deep in the defensive half by Godts. First shot was saved but then a miskick by AZ and the ball came to the top of the box where a hard shot hit Jaros but went right to an AZ player for an easy shot. Second goal was a long kick by the AZ keeper to Parrott who headed the ball to his feet and Sutalo could not make a play. Third goal was just bad team defense. I'll watch the 2nd half in hopes of seeing at least one goal. Why is it that AZ has troubles with all other teams but easily handles Ajax? I still fail to understand why Oscar is at the RW and worthless Klaassen continues at #10.

Plus we cannot deal with high pressure very well at all. Jaros just kicks long but it's always at an AZ player

Just about to switch off and its 4-0 .Our whole defence is sub standard

It ends up 6-0 in what was the worst matches that I have ever seen from an Ajax team. AZ had the perfect game plan, press high forcing Jaros to kick long (totally unsucessful) and the drop back with everyone behind the ball and wait for Ajax to make a mistake, of which there were plenty. Wijndall was sent off for a stomp (good call) and at that point the match was 4-0 but the expected goals for AZ was only 1.8. There were a couple of fluky goals but they all count in the end. Ajax players were weak with the ball and constantly turning it over. The minute this happened, AZ sent everyone forward and that was it.

I'm not going to waste any time rating players for this one as it's hard to find a single player who would get above a 5. Itakura was decent as was Rosa. Steur had a couple of good passes early on but that was all. Klaassen should NEVER start a match for Ajax. Jaros will never play a single match for Liverpool. Sutalo needs to move on as he is a shattered player these days. Oscar is not very good. Godts was awful.

I don't think this club should spend a single € this month on new player(s). This club will not be fixed by any addition right now. Focus on the youth and move on. Maybe they can finish second as all teams other than PSV can drop points on a given match day. It's just so disappointing that the management has brought the club down to this level. ENOUGH!!!!

Not much to add, AZ didn’t look that special so when I switched off at HT I was expecting something like 3–1 or 4–2.

I wish they’d just abandon Sutalo, Klaassen, Wijndal, Jaros etc. The results might get worse in the short term with a bunch of kids playing but this is the situation we are stuck with. The hard part is managing expectations over the next few seasons, we have to think of ourselves as a sub-top team for the time being. No ambition to play CL etc.

I also don’t think this season’s buys were worth it except maybe Itakura, who actually seems like a good fit to me.

Did not watch but reading loads of comments Jaros is dreadful , fullbacks are poor , and Sutalo woeful. No need to be told any of this and with Klaassen and Reeger in the team what can you expect.Gloukh is a real disappointment .He seems to dribble well but either loses the ball or does not pass properly .Bounida is no less a player

Dolberg and Itakura may be ok but both are paid 3.5m pa Dolberg is ok but 2 decent seasons in Belgium which is nothing special. Moro is a left winger so with Godts why was he bought! Itakura also earns 3.5m again plays ok but is nothing special .Would our defence be any worse with Baas and Bouwman!

Jordi will hopefully keep the words of his Dad firmly in mind , you use your own kids and if they are not good enough then buy but they must be better. Most signings since Overmars left are not good enough .

Mislintat was a disaster but sadly Kroes is as bad . 16 more days and this hopeless clown can go and please dont bring in any new players in that time
