Agreed, we have to win. On paper it’s the easiest of our four remaining games but NAC are battling relegation so they could do something heroic.

I’m assuming we will lose to PSV so any other slip ups and we’re in the playoffs.

I thought Groningen would give Feyenoord a tougher match but they made two really bad defensive plays that led to goals and Feyenoord win it 3-1. I think second place is out of the question barring incredible collapses by all three teams ahead of Ajax.

Other than some resolute defending this match was absolutely dreadful. Ajax were so poor in possession that it made me wonder whether any of these players are worthy. Two goals in the first half stand up and Ajax dreams of some sort of European football still flicker. Godts had a very nice goal but really should have passed to the wide open man.

Paes (6.5) - pretty solid game from our keeper with three nice saves
Gaaei (5.5) - still cannot defend
Sutalo (6.5) - decent enough job defending
Baas (6.5) - same as Sutalo
Rosa (6) - has a couple of good interentions
Regeer (6) - helped out on defense
Mokio (6) - excellent goal line clearance
Oscar (5.5) - got the match winner but was very poor on the ball
Berguis (5.5) - tracked back well but silent on offense
Weghorst (6) - was a good target for long kicks
Godts (6.5)- got the insurance goal
Steur (5.5) - worked hard
Itakura (NR) - on for the final 20 minutes and defended as needed
Bounida (NR) - showed some flash very late with a clanger off the upright
Edvardssen (NR) - on late

PSV at home next week and if they come out like they did today, it will be game set and match as PSV should have no trouble with Ajax.

2 good goals in the 1st half but 2nd half we were poor and a better side would have punished us. Not sure how we win any of our last 3 games this squad is just poor. Godts stands out but we cannot play 2 x 18 year old MF . Anyway 3 more times to see Weghorst who is poor, and Gaeei who must be the worst RB in our history to play 100 games.

Great save by the NEC GK right at the end to preserve the 1-1 draw. I guess this is the best result we can expect but still have to win out.

Godts is a moron. I hope that goal is enough to sucker some Spanish club into buying him and he can warm their bench next season.

Talk of getting 50 m for Godts.It was a world class goal had it been against PSV but not against NAC who are going down.

Based on last night we will lose our last 3 games but Tomiyasu can play so no Gaaei. Dont understand why Dolberg does not play as Weghorst is limited and frankly adds little .
MF is still our biggest problem,Reeger is moderate Gloukh invisible and Steur and Mokio are not yet ready for 90 mins.
