It’s exactly why I don’t rate Godts. Wingers who take that long to dispose of the ball make defending really easy. OK, he gets a goal or assist every now and then but I still believe it’s a net negative for the team.

Agree with all your comments about Godts . He wont make it in EPL or Italy maybe mid table Germany will be his limit.He will be found out like that 1 trick pony Antony.

The big question with Godts is whether he can learn. He's been working with Huntelaar on some things and he is certainly showing signs of improvement. The fact that he wants to stay at Ajax at least one more year is a good thing. Can he correct the flaws in his current game? We can only wait and see. The big issue is how much money we will need and what kinds of players are available in the transfer window.
