U17 Futures Cup at de Toekomst this weekend and games are live on Ajax.nl. 2 tomorrow . Not sure how good the squad is as the U17's are struggling with results.Hato's 15 year old brother is in the 18 man squad he has only just started in U17.Simeon from u19 plays as no U19 this weekend.

Only 5 are contracted, Cloos U16 goalie,the other 15 players are all regulars U17 squad and Peters,Bentaleb,Garnier,Newstead the other 4 under contract.

U17 reached the semis in the tournament. Games are2 x20 mins. Yesterday they beat Sporting Lisbon 3-1 and lost 2-1 to The Futures side made up of players from our partnership clubs ie Mexican Japanese Spanish included. I watched that game and we were not so good ,let in 2 silly goals.

This morning I caught the 2nd half of a 5-0 thrashing of PSG . Ajax passed quickly moved the ball at fast pace and a joy to watch after the garbage played by our 1st team.

Simeon ,U19 regular on the left wing and De Baat on the right ,he got a hattrick today, impressed so did Darko at 10 and Hato junior just 15 in MF looks quality .

Semi and finals tomorrow. Ajax have to go back to youth with quality experienced signings not all these rubbish 2nd raters now in our squad.

Loveliest picture at the end of the PSG game de Baat was signing autographs and selfies with loads of youngsters .

Semi tomorrow v Real Madrid.Anderlecht v Future U the other. Should have added Owalobi the left back , also played on the right is a great promise. Reading comments on the game on Showtime and most are like me ,what a joy to watch this is more like Ajax football and cheered me up after the 1st team rubbish.

Ajax go down a man just two minutes after the half and end up losing 1-2 on two penalties. Match winner came in the 38th minute as Hato committed a foul in the box. There was a VAR review but the PK call stood. Tough way to go out of the tournament and they will play for 3rd place later today. It was pretty even in the first half and Ajax defended very well with a man down but could not hold onto the tie and into PKs.

Finished 4th lost on pens to Future Utd. 3-3 at full time but we were 3-1 up but they scored 35 mins and 40th and last minute.Anderlecht beat Real in the final.

U17 won the U17 cup final today 7-2 at Groningen and it was on youtube . I watched the 2nd half and it went from 3-2 at Ht to 7-2. Ajax were completely on top in the 2nd half and I noted 4 out of 7 subs used were told yesterday they can leave. Still plenty of our U19 continuing in U19 next season so not all U17 can be promoted.

Zwolle were 9-3 down after 73 mins and scored 4 in the last 20 mins. At 9-3 I expected it to end 11 or 12 -3 crazy game
