RE: Bright Eyes. not my cup of tea based on several listenings of the music .Thanks K. for the heads up.Not a big fan of Maroon 5 either, but The Donnas are opening their 4/1 Philly show. I'm there. Just bought their three cds released between 1997 and 2001; The Donnas, Skintight, and Turn 21. Talk about no bs/straight ahead rock, the cds have between 13 and 23 songs and last only 41 minutes or so each.Turn 21 has an excellent cover of Judas Priest's "Living After Midnight".

Just purchased the 2 new releases from Bright Eyes. They grow on you are amoung my fav CDs at the moment. Yet to see them live, but maybe I wont bother and just appreiciate the studio releases!!!Kowalczyk schreef:Some music talk...
I saw Bright Eyes play live at the Utrecht Tivoli yesterday evening - and I thought it was absolute crap. The guy is so talented, but on stage he behaves like an annoying little brat who wants to be a rock star and produce noise.
Very disappointing. Just listen to his records - and don't bother to go see him live.

Currently listening to: Bright Eyes, Hayden - Elk-Lake Serenade < great relaxed Alt. Country and great lyrics. now waiting for new releases from Beck and Ryan Adams (No and I didn't mean 'B'ryan Adams).

23 years to erase a 140 M€ debt. Dammit, seems like everything is OK in Italy. In France you'd go straight to the gates of Hell for the tenth of that....

The lame answer: on a box of chocolate cookies... :eusa_dance:Per schreef:Where the hell did you get ahold of that word??
More specifically: on a box of chocolate cookies bought at IKEA. Don't know if it's the same everywhere, but in the IKEA in Amsterdam there is a sort of supermarket with all kinds Swedish delicacies, right by the exit. We bought a box of extremely delicious chocolate cookies there - and there you go...

Came across this website on the early morning Danny Baker show on the radio:-
"Bands have a tendency to share band members from time to time and as a result it is not difficult to construct a simple "family tree" based upon the interrelationship of band members. We at BandToBand.com decided to find out how large this extended tree is and the following list of bands is that result. Each band listed below is connected to every other band listed based upon this family tree principle."
Try it on www.bandtoband.com

Now is that bizarre or what...? I find it rather funny, actually... :DRight, we've made it clear: we're calling it quits!!! Not because we don't enjoy doing it anymore, or because we don't constantly want to upload footage of games that we lost, but especially because of the injustice that's taking place at the moment.
In our eyes Koeman is not the one to blame, but the players, who can be blamed for a lot of things and they let their coach down. It's a bunch of spoiled brats. Take Sneijder, for example, who's still a baby but seems to think he's Mister Fantastic. And what about a tosser such as Van der Vaart, who only worries about scoring at home, with Sylvie, rather than scoring on the pitch.
We've had nothing but trouble in the past two years: arguments, Zlatan's sudden departure, the whole Trabelsi thing and - if you ask us - much more bollocks within the club the world never knew of. Not only on the pitch and within the technical staff, but also in the board, like the departure of Van Gaal.
A man of Koeman's reputation does not deserve this. He deserved more respect, but respect is something the current generation of spoiled little brats no longer seems to have. We love Ajax with our heart and soul, but we don't feel like it anymore this way.
We want to thank everyone who visited this site over the years. And to the ones who criticized us: remember that we always did it for free.
See ya, folks! We're pulling the plug!

Kind of like UN sanctions.....
I always liked ultrasuid, they've basically given me all the footage input I've been able to get the last couple of years and I will always be grateful for that. Having their footage and the ausa reports atlest gave me a good picture of what's going on. Now I don't really know where to turn anymore (except for travelling to A-dam...)
But I agree that the reaction is wuite funny. Kind of like little kids getting disillusioned with their role models or something and ripping down all posters from the walls.....

Why do you build me up? BUTTERCUP!
Great Concert bargain of the week: Coachella festival in Indio,CA.4/30-5/1. 88 bands over two days for $152. Coldplay, Bauhaus re-union show, NIN, Weezer, Bright Eyes(I'll try again to like Conor Oberst and co.),Raveonettes,New Order,The Prodigy, Tegan & Sara, and too many others to name.
