Even though Groningen were poor Ajax did play a little better this game. They did a better job of playing away from the pressure to a free man and then getting the ball up the pitch.

Bouwman did make one mistake a clearance and although he is not ready for regular games he still does not look worse than Sutalo or Itakura.


We are yet to lose with Bouwman in the starting line up. I'll take that for what it's worth.

Had my weekly squash game going on at this time. So was watching bits and pieces during breaks. We need to not play the older useless folks and use next year as rebuilding with the kids.

We truly do need a coach who gets into the details and has the team ready and fit at the beginning of next season.

Apparently we're very close to signing Zinchenko on a 6 month loan.
